In2theatre, an inclusive theatre company for young people with learning differences in Stratford upon Avon
In2theatre was STARTED IN September 2007 AND IS A voluntary Organisation FOR ADULTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS. WE OFFER weekly workshops throughout the year in theatre and dance training, CULMINATING in regular public performances.
Our MISSION STATEMENT IS to support and train PARTICIPANTS in an inclusive and supportive ARTISTIC environment, valuing each individual for the skills they bring to the company. They work towards theatre, dance, voice, music, staging and singing skills, whilst enhancing their social, listening, communication, speaking and concentration skills. The personal benefits gained are inestimable - increased self-esteem and confidence, forging of friendships and team support and a hugh sense of achievement.
Every member is encouraged to perform and contribute at their own highest level, giving everyone an opportunity.
